Concrete Demolition

Clean, controlled concrete removal

Removing concrete looks simple until it is time to protect the slab next to it, the sprinkler lines below it and the neighbor's fence beside it. We saw cut clean lines, break the concrete with the right equipment for the space and haul it out without tearing up the rest of the property.

Most of what we remove is recycled. When the concrete is gone, we grade and compact the base so your paver, turf or new concrete installer can start right away. If you want, we can also install the new pavers or concrete.

How much does concrete removal cost in the Bay Area?

Concrete removal is usually priced by area, thickness, reinforcement and access. A small patio costs far less than a thick, reinforced driveway with tight access. We visit and give you a free, written quote.

Do I need a permit to remove concrete?

Flatwork like a patio usually does not need a permit, but driveways that touch the sidewalk or public right of way often do. We check with your city and handle it if required.

What happens to the concrete you remove?

Whenever possible it goes to a licensed recycling facility, where it is crushed and reused as base material.

Can you remove part of a driveway and keep the rest?

Do you install pavers or new concrete after removal?

Yes. We install interlocking pavers and new concrete driveways and patios, and we prepare the base ourselves so the new surface lasts.
